My Gen 4 Glock 17 is my first choice for everything. I run a Streamlight TLR-1 light and have a Burris Fast Fire III on it. I am going to have the slide milled in what is called a "slide melt" mount for the Burris. This is so the red dot will co-witness with suppressor sights. I am also going to swap out the barrel for a Lone Wolf threaded barrel.

Beat me, kick me, hate me, I love my hi point 40 well over 1500 Rounds through it and not the first issue, if it ever does hang up, it's heavy enough to use to beat some to death with
Threeper

I run the M&P 40. Remington Golden Sabers in 165 grain is my fighting ammo. Winchester whitebox is my plinking and training ammo.
Haven't had any problems with it yet.

I carry the Glock 22 for work so I have trained with it a lot. This is my primary sidearm. Gen4.
